Now ...my point of the thread on Religious Ed Forum is men have taken it upon themselves to be salvation. Who else but the so called "faithful and discreet slave" and THEIR believers affirm that they are so? If they really were faithful and discreet don't you think SOME non-believers would recognize them? If they really were so important to believe why are there not more clues about their identity? Why is Matthew 24:45 a question?
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
