Usually on the internet insults get responses.  Responses is what I was hoping for.

So?  Does the Bible make people stupid or draw stupid people to it?  Either one is bad.

Is it OK to call Bible people stupid?  I do not know.

Why do I think Bible people are stupid?  They lift it up for Glory but they do not care what it says.

I had a good day!

It started out badly.  I woke up too late to have enough time to set up my yard sale.

I woke up early enough but I went back to sleep for another hour,

I thought that putting up more signs might take a little while, but it took longer.  And then I was a bitch.

Anyway even though I found out later that my signs on the main road were down (and I don't know how) I made some money.  I wasn't expecting much money, but I made more than I expected and you can know how much if you ask me.

Then my sister who helped me with it and I went out for a beer.  I noticed the waitress was dressed unusually casually and I said something.  She said she doesn't work there, but she came in for a meal and not dressed up because that is what I just said and there were too many people to wait on for one bartender and she knew the owner who was cooking clams and she wanted some so she decided to help them serve the customers who were many and who wanted to eat.

I had the good idea to help them.  So I drove my sister home and then I put on black clothes and a black apron to go to work.  I showed up and the bartender was not happy.  He did not know that I am the invisible woman and probably won't get in anyone's way and I didn't.  It was fun!  Do you understand?  OMG.  I showed up at a place to go to work that I don't work at.  And I did.  

If you ask me what I did. I will tell you.

Does The Bible draw stupid people or make people stupid?

The same book many people will believe before they ever will believe the truth asks a question.  The question is "who really is the faithful and discreet slave?".

If you will see my previous post you will see that Jesus promised a helper and that the helper would be sent only after Jesus left.

It is written that Jesus would ask The Father that it be sent and he said it would come out of him.

So?  Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?  Is it The Father?  Is it The Son?  Or is it The Holy Spirit?

OR is The Helper NOT the faithful and discreet slave?

The Faithful and Discreet Slave

Jesus asked, "who really is it?".  The Jehovah's Witnesses say it is their governing body.

The Bible does not go on to answer the question.

But the Bible does provide the clues.

Luke 24:49

I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.

John 14:16

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever

John 15:26

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father--the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father--he will testify about me.

John 16:7

But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.

John 16:13

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

A little leaven ferments the whole bunch

Jesus said the teaching of the Pharisees is leaven.   What is a Pharisee?  I think a Pharisee is a spiritual leader of the people.

Hebrews 10:25 be not forsaking the gathering of yourselves together as some have the custom.

Gathering together where?  ALL the spiritual leaders of the people say it means to gather to church, not a building say some, but they all say it means a physical gathering of people.  Oh!  And at the same time they say some people are bad associations who can spoil your good character.  Hm.  A quandary.  God has a quandary  for us?  I do not think so.

What about gathering to the 144,000?  Why will nobody think about it?

Is the 144,000 a physical gathering of people?   I am sure it is not.  What do YOU think? NOTHING? Because that is what I hear.

I have a worst pet peeve

I do not like seeing people lie, but they do not know they are lying.  Do I lie?
