So my alter ego is paranoid

I'm thinking the auction is doing monetarily well for one of two reasons.  Reason one is someone on the eBay forum wants to prove me wrong.  Thanks!  The other reason is someone must buy my buttons that don't match best match so she might find me to shut me up.  I'm scared.

I hate to waste perfectly good words

People who do not waste their time searching for their own buttons might believe their auctions go up the Best Match list as days go by.  They don't.  They might also believe their popular auction might get a better place on the list because indeed it is a "best match".  It won't.  Seeing that these words won't post on ebay discussion forum and I'd hate to waste them, I shall blog these too.

I am blogging this

My last auction has 41 views and 11 watchers.  It is free shipping.  It has two bids.  There are four large buttons that are selling for $5.79.  The retail value of the buttons is at least $30.00 I suppose.  Right now they will sell for (minus shipping) for less than $1.00 each.  From my experience on eBay I predict they will sell for no more than $9.00.  They might sell for $5.79, and probably will.  They can be found right now with 11 hours to go in place (I'm guessing) 1500.  That is excluding Buy It Now listings.  It is also excluding Antique and Sewing listings.  According to my research of Best Match they will stay in position 1500 until they can also be seen on the Ending Soonest list on page one.

I am overreacting?

OK  You are entitled to your opinion in MY world.

I am not overreacting.  I have a button bid on auction ending in six hours.  It's cost is $4.50 with free shipping which is about $2.00.  I do not know the real value of the button and it is why I prefer ebay (I mean in theory) over other venues.  I am guessing the button is worth eight to twenty dollars.  After my cost of selling it I will make about $1.50.  It is number 1200 on the Best Match list on ebay.  I followed the instructions for improving the listing.  The instructions have proved to be one stinky crock of ****.

UNBELIEVABLE!

It seems ebay is now a religion.  It cut me off from replying on discussion board.

I was complaining about their Best Match application.  When someone wants to look for something on ebay they type in the name and up pops a Best Match list.  The trouble with a best match list is so many favored auctions cut in line of auctions ending soonest.  I tell 'nobody'* on ebay on the discussion board that it is not fair.

* nobody, because you know why.  Haha

This is one post I wrote and now you will know the trick if you didn't.  I don't have so many family and friends.  And I'd rather not cheat.

I will tell you one reason "Best Match" is not the best match.  If I had a big family, lots of friends to help and another computer to search on I could easily get up the list by having everyone click on my auction and put it on their watch list.  Does it make it a best match for someone else?  What do you think?
