I have thought of words that might get the idea across better. Jesus lived to do the will of The Father. Going forth discipling means doing the will of The Father. But if it was true that Jesus said go make disciples then it would be going forth doing the will of the convert not of Jehovah.
A person to convert must have a reason for doing so. Your job for the making of disciples would be persuasion. The making of disciples is about serving for conversion. But serving should be for love. Is conversion and love the same?
