According to The Bible Jesus commanded the making of disciples.
Let's have a look at history. Shall we?
There are many souls claiming to be disciples of Jesus. How did many of them get that way?
Threats (of hell), promises (of heaven), force, coersion, propaganda, lies, birth, fear, temptation, for personal gain, for friends, for revenge, for trouble.
I haven't met a Christian yet who is a Christian for Jesus.
How is it possible to make someone who does not love Jesus into a person who does? According to The Bible it is not only possible, it is a command.
