I think the easiest way to know which one is if you must wait for someone else to adopt an idea before you will believe it, you are a goat. I do not know if a goat can become a sheep. I do not see why not.
The Spirit talks to us in many ways. The sheep listen to the voice of the Fine Shepherd. They know His voice. They do not listen to strangers. They do not try to save their own soul by looking for what is best FOR THEMSELVES. They follow the shepherd, even when it becomes difficult or very lonely.
They endure to the end.
How does The Fine Shepard meet His end? He never does. That's what that meant fyi.
