People say Satan must be a person because someone tempted Jesus in the wilderness. Then other people say he was tempted from within by his own evil nature that is present in all men. But not women. ;)

If Satan is not a person, then who tempted Jesus? First you have to know the Bible is in signs. So the bread, the bowing and the jumping all mean something else.
Heaven opened up for him before his undertaking in the wilderness so he knew what would happen to his ministry. He knew that people would twist his words and use them for selfish gain. He knew his Father would be accused of every terrible thing. He knew he would fail for the most part.
That was the satan that tempted him.
