The head of John the Baptist

The Jehovah's Witnesses teach that because John was murdered and died before Jesus Christ did then John can not be brought to Heaven to rule with Christ as King and Priest.  Even though Jesus said of him "there is no one greater than John the Baptist"

The word says so

But the Word also warns do not take the seat of Moses.  And they do that.  They don't?

But I shall not speak here of injustice.  I want to talk about philosophy.

If the Bible is a drama and a shadow of reality what does it mean that John was beheaded too soon?

The Witnesses will tell you that the four attributes of God are

1.Justice

2. Wisdom

3. Love

4.  Power

John came with justice, wisdom and love but not with power.  Or do you really think the greatest man would prefer Earth habitation and growing vegetables to ruling in Heaven?

So the forth one is wrong.  John being the greatest would be coming in God's image best (he being the greatest) but he did not come in power.  He came in truth.

The four attributes of Jehovah

are

1. Love

2. Justice

3.  Wisdom

4.  Truth

Jesus is Love and he has the Way (justice) Life (wisdom) and Truth (truth)

So we can see that John was killed in a prophetic drama he losing a part of him like the World has lost TRUTH.

I don't think it really means anything but it is food for thought.
