Just so you know

Dear Nancy,

to whom did Jesus entrust his teaching to?  was it not to his faithful apostles...all of them were men.  They formed congregations and taught those congregations and the congregations accepted the leadership of such men.  The apostle Paul was a man who had never met Jesus, yet he formed  many gentile congregations and taught those congregations...the congregations obeyed Pauls directions.  [is that so?  proof?]

When you read the bible, you are reading the writings of men who gave us direction and teaching that we must strive to obey.  [obey what?  Jesus said "you will know the truth and the truth will set you free].

Actually, unless Jesus or Jehovah personally come before you and speak to you directly, the only way you will ever hear from them is through the mouths of the men [Genesis 21:12, Judges 4:5, Ruth 3:1-5, 1 Samuel 25:19,28, Esther 4:15,16,17, Proverbs 31:26, Galatians 3:26-29]  they appoint.  It has always been that way.  So i dont know why you have an issue with the group of men who are assigned to produce the literature that we use to help us understand Gods word more clearly.

Mark 3:14 And he formed [a group of] twelve, whom he also named “apostles,” that they might continue with him and that he might send them out to preach

Acts 1:8 “You will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the most distant part of the earth.”
As I said before, there are disciples who do have authority to teach and whom Jesus gives holy spirit to in order for them to preach and teach.   The governing body are appointed by Christ to preach and teach....and thats why we should listen to them.

It is the people who have allowed the Governing Body to rule.  The only testimony existing that they are appointed by Christ is their own and the people who are loyal to them.  It is what "a crown was given" means at Revelation 6:2.  It is their own people who give them the power not Heaven.  How do I know?  A voice says "come" to the rider on the white horse.  The white horse stands for the written word. Jehovah the Father is in Heaven.  Jehovah is the only authority greater than Jesus.  So it is only Jehovah's voice that can order Christ.   But then the voice would say "GO" not "come".

I think it would be obvious but it has not proved to be obvious.  The Bible has not been written to obey.  It is written as a warning.  It's not a recipe, it's a sign.
