This is just an idea I have for the book.
There are people whose job it is to do inventory.
They carry instruments for counting.
They are about the size of an old fashion walky talky.
This is for finding radiation from out of space.
They do not capture the alien.
They don't do that anymore.
Not your story, the other guy, or girl
So they think because they are counting the soda that they are unobtrusive
Which the alien thinks is very polite, but more funny even.
The radiation detector makes not sound, of course.
Because then the sound might give away the technition. It looks right to me.
It's a story, not the truth, OK?
