What?

Hi Nancy,

Im not going to argue with you. If you were an Israelite living under Moses direction, would you criticize him and walk away from him?  Probably not. So why is it so difficult to believe that Jehovah is using men to lead his people today?   I don't understand how anyone could take issue with that.  It seems you are looking at their faults and mistakes and you've concluded that because of such faults, they cannot be the right avenue to know Jehovah.  But what other religion is teaching bible truths and doing Gods will?  None.  Even the ones who are proclaiming Gods name as Yahweh, they still hold to pagan teachings and practices that God condemns.

I am sorry for the situation you are in and hope that you find happiness in another religion of your choice.

Moses?

Yes, by saying "choose whatever religion suits you and be happy"
means "I have nothing more to say to you".  I understand.
You are a Bible student/teacher, are you not?
What did Jesus say about those taking the seat of Moses?  He was
talking to the Jews and he also said he came not to destroy them
but to fulfill and he did.  Now the Watchtower is trying
to fulfill some more.  That is what people know but you don't
know because you are being faithful to men.  That is
your religion.

Matthew 23:2

2saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves
in the chair of Moses; 3therefore all that they tell you, do
and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they
say things and do not do them. 4“They tie up
heavy burdens and lay them on men’s shoulders,
but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as
a finger. 5“But they do all their deeds to be
noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen
the tassels of their garments. 6“They love the place
of honor at banquets and the chief seats
in the synagogues, 7and respectful greetings in the market places,
and being called Rabbi by men. 8“But do not be called Rabbi;
for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers.
9“Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your
Father, He who is in heaven. 10“Do not be called leaders;
for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11“But the greatest
among you shall be your servant. 12“Whoever exalts himself
shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be
exalted

How are your leaders NOT exalting themselves?
Moses appeared with Christ on the mountain.
How can you honestly compare your leaders with him?
Also it is written "One Teacher One Father One Leader"
They are making themselves equal to The Son of God.
Do you remember what the Bible taught you?  "step away from the
tents of those men"  24“Speak to the congregation, saying,
‘Get back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.’”
Numbers 16:24

How do you know other groups are clinging to pagan teachings?
And if they are, like the Bible Students were at one time
(before new light) how do you know they will continue to do so?

Do not judge or you will be judged too.
