Speaking of Australia

There is a legal case forming against the Jehovah Witnesses.
It will be interpreted as neglect on their part to report sex offenders.
But it is just a STEP in the process of keeping track of persons who
have been found guilty of crimes against children.
That is how I understand it.  Yes, to some people it means the same thing.
But for them who decided not to comply with the new law, it is not the same.
I don't take sides, just so you know.  Non-political is my motto.
But I do think there was absolutely no problem that they SHOULD
comply,  but now it's too late, or so I hear.

  1. If you track the total members of Jehovah's Witnesses against just the clergy of some organizations, you get comparable percentages. But if you actually compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, the instances of pedophilia among JWs is remarkably low.

  2. Hello Tom! It is not the crime I write about,
it is the refusal to register with the Government so that a person might be savvy to the POSSIBILITY that a person they are close to might do something to their child. It is a government agency for the information, not the person. By not registering they exhibit a lack of CONCERN. The Bible says the wise one conceals self. Proverbs 22:3.
The government (of Australia) is helping the individual to identify from whom to conceal the child from. That's all. Watchtower said "NO!".
Someone didn't like that and I don't blame that one. But some people will. WOE to them that are saying good is bad and bad is good. Isaiah 5:20
