How much awake are Jehovah's Witnesses?
I have not been to a meeting for more than 15
months. I have not been to an assembly or convention.
I debated for a while whether I would go to the Memorial
but I did not.
There is a sister who is an elder's wife and a pioneer. I think
of all the people I have ever known, I shall consider her a friend.
Like a girl friend. She was a member of my congregation, but
was called with her husband to another congregation. She still
lives in the same house as each congregation, mine and her's, is
the same distance approximately. She has given years and years to the
organization and her children too.
She greeted me as a child of the light. Now usually meeting one another
is awkward when two people of a congregation meet, as our only
thing in common is our service.
But we were friends. She did not know that I am "inactive" as one
of Jehovah's Witnesses. We embraced, because I love her and she
believed we are sisters (IF I remain with the DOCTRINE). I do not believe
in the doctrine. In case you have not read my blog, I believe Jesus.
How did she not know, is it really of no concern to my
"spiritual family" that I am in danger? Or do they not really believe it?
Yes, I am certain that she did not know.
