Just so you know

Dear Nancy,

to whom did Jesus entrust his teaching to?  was it not to his faithful apostles...all of them were men.  They formed congregations and taught those congregations and the congregations accepted the leadership of such men.  The apostle Paul was a man who had never met Jesus, yet he formed  many gentile congregations and taught those congregations...the congregations obeyed Pauls directions.  [is that so?  proof?]

When you read the bible, you are reading the writings of men who gave us direction and teaching that we must strive to obey.  [obey what?  Jesus said "you will know the truth and the truth will set you free].

Actually, unless Jesus or Jehovah personally come before you and speak to you directly, the only way you will ever hear from them is through the mouths of the men [Genesis 21:12, Judges 4:5, Ruth 3:1-5, 1 Samuel 25:19,28, Esther 4:15,16,17, Proverbs 31:26, Galatians 3:26-29]  they appoint.  It has always been that way.  So i dont know why you have an issue with the group of men who are assigned to produce the literature that we use to help us understand Gods word more clearly.

Mark 3:14 And he formed [a group of] twelve, whom he also named “apostles,” that they might continue with him and that he might send them out to preach

Acts 1:8 “You will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the most distant part of the earth.”
As I said before, there are disciples who do have authority to teach and whom Jesus gives holy spirit to in order for them to preach and teach.   The governing body are appointed by Christ to preach and teach....and thats why we should listen to them.

It is the people who have allowed the Governing Body to rule.  The only testimony existing that they are appointed by Christ is their own and the people who are loyal to them.  It is what "a crown was given" means at Revelation 6:2.  It is their own people who give them the power not Heaven.  How do I know?  A voice says "come" to the rider on the white horse.  The white horse stands for the written word. Jehovah the Father is in Heaven.  Jehovah is the only authority greater than Jesus.  So it is only Jehovah's voice that can order Christ.   But then the voice would say "GO" not "come".

I think it would be obvious but it has not proved to be obvious.  The Bible has not been written to obey.  It is written as a warning.  It's not a recipe, it's a sign.

Someone wants to know

How is the way "cramped" if there are so few on it?

Matthew 7:14

2 Corinthians 10:5

If I was writing a book

In my story the Jehovah's Witnesses would be a secret society of men who seek to know what the Bible says.  The best way to do that if you haven't got any Holy Spirit is to teach it wrong.  Then someone will come to it's defense.   Eventually someone, I shall emphasize some one because it's funny that  way, will want to straiten things out a bit so she will.  But turns out world kind of likes things crooked.  Which I guess is funny times two!

But it isn't a funny book so it won't sell well.

I think they know they are teaching it wrong.  Not everyone knows but I'd be willing to bet the Governing Body knows.

Oh!  Understanding it incorrectly is what "the wide gate and the broad way" means.  Where I wonder does it lead?  What?  Destruction?  Hm I wonder if THAT'S right?

Matthew 7:13,14

I have found that to understand it one must look for the twins of scripture.  Is there one?  There is one.

Revelation 6

That rider on that horse is introducing the Great Tribulation, no?

No no no.  They like the WORD crooked that should be strait and they like TIME strait but it is crooked.

How is it twin?  The broad way leads to destruction and the rider of the white horse leads to destruction.  (There are other people who know the rider of Revelation 6:2 is not Jesus)

Jesus coming is described at Revelation 19:11-13.  So the rider described at Revelation 6:2 comes like Jesus.  They might even believe they are for Jesus.  Matthew 24:5  How many people have interpreted that scripture to mean they come saying THEY are Christ?  They are saying He is Christ but their works prove otherwise.

Um I might be wrong but I think he was warning his followers NOT TO MISLEAD (by being false teachers of the word) Like me?  Ya, like me ;(

Another twin is Hebrews 10:25 "as some have the custom".  What is the custom?  The custom is walking the broad way listening to the false teachers.  It is custom, no?

Matthew 16:25

Dear B*****e,

I am stumbled?

You say "if the Elders did not take direction and teaching from the
> governing body, then their teachings would have to come from somewhere
> else".

But where does the teaching that the Governing Body is occupied with
come from? Who is your intermediary? Whenever you do anything religious
it is for the name of Jehovah's Witnesses. What about God's Name?
What about asking for Holy Spirit in Jesus name? John 14:14
Jesus said "my sheep listen to MY VOICE". John 10:27
You are listening to the voice of the Governing Body.
I believe it is you who is stumbled.

Jesus warned "he who would save his soul will LOSE it" Matthew 16:25.
You go door to door telling people how they will be SAVED by siding
with Jehovah's Witnesses.

But Jesus said he who would lose his soul for Jesus,
(not for an organization), will find it. You are sticking
to the Governing Body because they tell you if
you do not stay you will be LOST. Jesus did not teach that.
If you can prove scripturally that Jesus taught that
I will go back on my knees to the Kingdom Hall. In words not in pictures.
(Noah, first century congregation, Nation of Israel). Those are pictures

of God's people cooperating. Tell me where it says
as a command that I am to obey men instead of God, please,
and if you can do that I will try again to do it.

Yours truly,
Nancy

The Great Crowd

What does the Great Crowd come out of?

The great tribulation is not a period of time that has a beginning and an end date.

The great tribulation describes the World that has not followed the Fine Shepherd to the peace described at Psalm 23.

To "come out" of it means to listen to what the Spirit says to the congregation.  The congregation is the great crowd.

What IS so funny?

I think it is funny that something believed by many people is found true by them by virtue of being believed by many people.  But if someone were to disagree and offer an explanation more practical it would not be believed because someone is just one and not many.  That is funny, right?

It's actually not

To you dear reader it sounds like crazy talk?  It is not crazy talk.
The funny thing is there are reception devises for picking up extraterrestrial signals.  I think I heard You are not doing that any more which is good because it's a waste of time isenit?

I'm speaking ENGLISH to English readers and they don't get me.  Oh!  Maybe I'm being translated into Russian.  I think that is so cool by the way (btw).  LOL.  Am I coming through clear?

Where have all my friends gone?
