Let us learn to reason. Shall we?

So you say there are good people to associate with which association with them would be the opposite of associating with "bad" ones as we are warned about.
Bad associations spoil useful habits. 1 Corinthians 15:33
If you are one of them that believes it is true that associating with certain people is able to spoil you, do you believe the reverse of that is true?  Is it possible for associations with "good" people to cause a preserving of you?  Preserve is the opposite of spoil.  Is it not?

Many people are being taught, believe and teach it, that there are people who are able to mislead you and to spoil you.*
Do not be misled, bad associations spoil useful habits 1 Corinthians 15:33

Lead is the opposite of mislead.  Do you believe associating with associations that are good is able to lead you?  Is it in a good person's power to lead you and preserve you?

My leader is Christ and God is my preserver.

If it is true bad people are able to cause a spoiling and a misleading the opposite should be true too.

But wait!  (please don't go!)

Let's say you are right because I have drawn a picture of your rightness and I want to share it.

It's a mental picture.

There are bad people who can mislead you and there are good people who can lead you.  The world proves this true.  It's true.

Is it good?

No it isn't.  It is not a good thing to believe.  There are many reasons it is not good.

The reason I shall share with you today is my mental picture.  And here it is.

There are not many good leaders.  I shall define a good leader as one who is able to lead you to the preserving of your soul.

There are many people who have a sincere wish to be led to life as Jesus Christ promised is possible.

Many people.  Few leaders.

We shall take a look at the leaders who are "good associations" and (according to many people) have the power which is the opposite of bad associations.

Associating with those good leaders is able to lead you in "the way in which you should go" for the preserving of your soul.

But a good leader cannot associate with everyone.  Many people who are not able to associate with your good leaders do not have the SAME opportunity FOR LIFE as the ones who do.

How is a leader to choose who of the people are welcome to associate with him?

Most of us living in a free country are able to limit our associations with anyone we consider "bad".  Although many people hide their badness.  I mean most people do.  I actually do.  Do you?

The picture is of those who are good associations choosing who will be theirs for an advantage.  But either way, not choosing or choosing,  causes them to lose their "goodness".  A person not choosing to help just one soul (even the least one Matthew sheeps and goats) is not righteous.  And a person who chooses one soul over another is not righteous because they are making people NOT EQUAL.  If even the best righteous soul alive is choosing one soul for an advantage which then chooses another soul for a disadvantage a world of inequality becomes reality. The person YOU consider good and worthy of walking with is causing an inequality.  For real.

So there is no opposite of "bad associations spoil useful habits" if bad associations mean people.

*(I have not yet debated with myself what the correlation between mislead and spoil is.  Maybe I'll do that another day.)
