To many people it means to be having company with bad bad people causes a spoiling and a misleading.
That was a typo but I think it should stay as nobody is good and some people hide their badness and the world is not ALL corrupt. Is it?
To you who are so sure it means what you think it means I need to know for my writing what causes what?
Interesting. "spoil" is "destroy" and even "led astray". Wow. There is only one place in scripture where the word you say "habits" is found. It has been translated "custom" "manners" but I am going with it is the singular form of the word. Someone says it means a "customary abode".* I shall go with that one.
What would Jesus say? Does a spoiling lead to a wandering or does a wandering lead to spoilage?
If I choose to forsake my dwelling place with my brothers and sisters in Christ to go after bad men am I not already wandering?
Let's just say you are right about having company with bad men causes a spoilage or corruption. Then the planasthe would result. Planasthe is to cause to wander. Then WHO caused the wandering in the first place?
You wander away from God's congregation to have the company of bad men. The bad men did not cause the wandering, the one wandering did it. How is it their fault?
