This is funny!

I am acquainted with the button crowd.  The kind of buttons the button crowd is interested in are old sewing buttons.  I joined this world of the buttons about four years ago.  Before that I had found four big jars of buttons at a thrift store and I bought them all for $32.00.

Buttons are a mood enhancing phenomenon for many people.  It is a competition for finding the best, pettiest, rarest ones.  There are millions.  I bet you did not know that!

I have been thinking of getting to know the ladies (and the few gentlemen) of the button club better.  The meetings are the only place we see each other and the meetings are busy, noisy and short.  Therefore there is not much time to get to know each other.

To remedy the problem I had a luncheon for the group members.  Eight ladies and one gentleman came.  One of the ladies brought wine.  She is a button seller.

It is rare for a button collector to sell any favorite buttons.  Usually the owner must die for the buttons to be let go of.

I am young and alive but if I die, my buttons will be sold for sure.  Everyone gets excited when new old buttons come up for  sale.  Even if it is just to see them is exciting as every collection I have seen so far is unique and special.  Sometimes the collection is sold for well under auction value.

This is the story for a short piece.  The lady who brings the wine brings poison wine so that more buttons will appear for sale faster.  Haha.  What ever made me think of that?  It was the wine.  I did not think it was a good choice.  It's a story.

What is worse?

Let's just imagine for a second that someone can see something and knows that what is being seen is not being seen by anyone else.  Let's say she who can see has been looking for others who can also see.  And she has not found anyone. Which certainly does not mean that no one else can see.  After a time of several years of looking and nothing being found, how does she feel?  Does she feel as though she has been given food, a drink, clothes or been visited?

I think the only answer must be no.  Can it be yes?  Hello?  LOL

It's not funny.

OK.  What is worse?  Not seeing and saying "I can not see" or not seeing and saying "I can see"?

What are the Christians saying?  What are ALL the Christians saying?   How many are there saying "I can see" but they can not see?

You don't see it.

I am not sure, like some people think they are sure about what they know, that I know what the truth is about the truth.  I have discovered many places in scripture where I believe Man's thoughts have crept in.  It is not good to be putting faith in Man's thoughts.

The fact that I see people doing that and I see people failing to do what it is commanded to do for life, proves to me that knowing it is not good for me.

It is not good for me to understand the Sacred Secret.  Why not?  Why is it not good for me to understand that people are headed strait for the edge of the world?

Do you understand that many people live their lives in such a way that for someone to know what Heaven knows she can see them headed for destruction?  It is because they believe they are headed for The Kingdom, there is no stopping them.  And there has proved to be no reasoning with them.

Did you see what the lady who is a Jehovah's Witness wrote?  Is that not shocking?  She didn't mean it?  You are right but it is true.  She wrote it about You, but is is about her.  "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks".  

Why be gathered together?

Hebrews 10:25 says do not forsake gathering together.  Why would I want to gather to people who are passing me over?  

Remove the beam they'll say

They think "why should I listen to you?".  And I'll say I never said you should.  But I should listen to you.  The only problem with that is I hear nothing.  

Love is not listening

I think if some people have the opportunity to present  their accomplishments to the Heavenly Throne they will say "I loved YOU so much I would not listen!"  I wonder what they expect to get for that?

One major response that is forthcoming is "does this poster listen?"  And I say I am straining very hard to hear you not saying anything.  

You did it to me

Did what?  Feeding him when he was hungry, giving a drink to him when he was thirsty, taking him in when he was friendless, clothing him when he was naked, and coming to him when he was sick or in prison.

The sheep on his right hand say "When?" But the word pote (Strong's 4219) has the meaning of possibility not time.

How does doing something for the least one mean doing it for Christ?

It is because  a believer who is hungry, thirsty, naked, sick or in prison has only Christ to comfort him unless the labor is shared by other believers.

It is about all those who did not go off to leave him alone.
