Can it be that she was fooled into believing that she wanted to know that she did something good and when she did something bad? The KNOWLEDGE of good and bad? Now it has become in us a desire to do good only for a reward, even if the reward is just knowing. And the feeling of knowing God is pleased has been replaced in some people with the feeling that their fellow man is pleased.
